Julie hurried home. She straightened up the house and the
basement gym, and prepared some food for later. About six, as
expected, Paula pulled her rental car into the driveway. Julie
met her at the door. She showed her around the house, got her a
cold drink and then took her down to the basement.  "Steve won't
be here till about eight, so we have lots of time to work
