Queen Voodoo Part 2 The so-called elimination tournament went pretty much the way Tita anticipated it. Queen Voodoo dismantled three other hapless opponents in much the same style as she had with pitiful Debbie Slade. The wild woman from Haiti simply beat them to proverbial pulp. Now, the only obstacle that stood in her path was Tita. And Tita was well aware of the formidable threat to her title. For the first time since she'd won the championship, there was serious speculation to the effect that she was about to be dethroned. Worse yet, they gave her no chance whatever against Queen Voodoo. Tita was being written-off as mere roadkill. The insiders and oddsmakers made her a huge underdog. And who could blame them. Judging from the way Queen Voodoo had mauled her previous opponents, how could Tita possibly survive? Here was Tita Del Rio, a mere munchkin at 5'4" and 164 pounds defending her title against this female gargantua who stood slightly over 6 ft. tall and weighed in at 212 pounds. Few felt that Tita could overcome such a substantial height and weight advantage let alone the awesome strength and viciousness of Queen Voodoo. She was in a class all by herself with 19 1/2 biceps and 30" thighs. But in the weeks preceding their showdown, Tita concentrated only on her training. Somehow, she was able to ignore the hype and media intimidation. There had to be some strategy, some way to bring Queen Voodoo down. And Tita believe that strategy had to include speed. She worked on improving her speed and quickness realizing that it would be unwise to tackle the black Amazon headon. Pitting strength against strength or attempting to match muscle against muscle would be a sure way to lose the match. This time, Tita would employ an altogether different battle plan. Like all championship bouts, this one was scheduled for the best two out of three falls with no time limit. Queen Voodoo sported a body-hugging leopard leotard with a bare midriff. She smirked across the ring at Tita who was wearing her usual "lucky" black halter and white lycra shorts. Tita ignored her nemesis completely even as they stood toe to toe and received final instructions from the referee. The fans sensed that they were about to witness another classic mismatch as Queen Voodoo hovered above the much shorter champion. But Tita's legion of loyal fans gave her rousing support as the bell sounded and she warily emerged from her corner. Queen Voodoo called Tita on with gestures and a taunting grin. As their hands and bodies locked in the center of the ring, Tita suddenly realized her mistake. Never before had she felt such awesome strength. Queen Voodoo was simply overpowering and Tita quickly melted to her knees as the Queen bore down on her. Luckily, Tita was able to slither from her grasp, slip behind her and grab the the huge Haitian around the waist. Tita's own 17" guns swelled and trembled as she swept her rival off the mat and then slammed her hard to the canvas on her butt. More embarrassed than hurt, Queen Voodoo bellowed and clambered to her feet. But this time, a perfectly timed flying dropkick caught her in the chest and kisser. Anyone else would have been flattened as Tita lashed out furiously with her feet. But Queen Voodoo remained on her feet, staggering backward and nearly going down to one knee. The black giantess shook her dreadlocks wildly as she tried to regain her wits, but a second dropkick sent her sprawling to her back. Tita pressed her advantage, stomping at the prone body at her feet.. The leather soles of Tita's wrestling boots left their imprint on the Amazon's head and body. She writhed and rolled on the canvas trying to avoid Tita's flailing feet. Unaccustomed to such treatment, Queen Voodoo screamed in protest as she made it back to her knees amid a torrent of kicks. A savage knee to the back of the neck silenced her momentarily. Tita then muscled her upright just long enough to snap her head over heels with a wicked flying mare. The two-hundred pounder looked to be a rag- doll as she was flipped onto her back. All bets were suddenly off as Tita was quite clearly dominating the match. Queen Voodoo appeared confused and groggy as Tita moved in behind her and applied a standing facelock. But this time, a sudden elbow thrust caught Tita squarely in the gut. The facelock was broken and Tita was gasping. With surprising speed, Queen Voodoo spun around on her knees and caught Tita with a power punch to the belly. Instinctively, Tita lunged at her foe, but she was dragged down to the mat by the hair. Both women were now grappling frantically for control as they rolled over and over on the mat. But when they finally stopped, it was Tita who found herself being scissored breathless between gargantuan thighs. Moving quickly to control , the black Amazon secured a full-nelson while her thighs continued their crushing pressure around Tita's ribcage. Barely thirty seconds had passed, but Tita was huffing and puffing, fighting for every breath. She instinctively tried to bridge out of the scissors, but thirty-something thighs ground her back down to the mat. Worse yet, the full-nelson was about to snap her neck. Tita realized the desperateness of her situation. She'd never before been this helpless. The more she squirmed, the greater, the more unbearable the pain. Her body was almost invisible between those monstrous thighs as Queen Voodoo sent a last shuddering blast of power through Tita's tortured body. Tita was barely able to whisper a submission as the numbing pain of the scissor and full-nelson combination had her on the threshold of unconsciousness. She did however, manage to feebly wave an arm. The referee tugged at Queen Voodoo's arms as he ordered her to release Tita. But the ruthless Queen refused to obey his commands and continued wreaking havoc for another minute or so. The decisive and sudden finish to the first fall was not a good omen for Tita who slumped in her corner while her handlers splashed cold water in her face. They were almost frantic as they had only three minutes to revive her. She appeared to be totally sapped of strength as she wobbled out of the corner to meet the awesome Haitian. Well aware of Tita's condition, Queen Voodoo swarmed all over her with a withering barrage of knees, elbows and forearms. Unbelievably, Tita somehow stayed on her feet but was driven back into the ropes. The referee looked like he might call the bout at any second as the giantess then proceeded to press Tita overhead like a human barbell. Then, howling like an enraged beast, she slammed Tita into the mat. The ferocity of the bodyslam was like nothing anyone had ever witnessed. The entire ring seemed to buckle as Queen Voodoo repeatedly drove Tita headlong into the canvas. After a fourth and final bodyslam, she covered the prone and motionless Tita for the pin. It turned out to be a mere formality as the referee counted the champ down and out. The second and deciding fall had come to an end in less than five minutes. It was hardly a popular outcome as a cascade of boos flooded down on Queen Voodoo. But she sneered defiantly at her detractors as the referee raised her arm and a reluctant world was forced to crown her as "the toughest woman in the world."
