Infinity Woman

Mary:  {Yyaawwnn}... Wow that was some yawn, I must be more tired
  than I thought. Good thing I'm headed back to town. Maybe a
  little music will help keep me awake.

Mary looks down at the car radio, turns it on and searches for her favorite
station. After about thirty seconds she decides she must be too far out in
the desert and gives up trying. Just then she realizes she hasn't been
looking at the road. She looks up just in time to see a huge black sphere
about fifty feet in diameter blocking the road about two hundred feet in
front of her.

Mary:   WHAT THE...!?!?

Quickly Mary slams on the brakes and turns the steering wheel causing the
car to go off the desert road into a ditch, which brings the car to a sudden
and painful stop.

Mary:   OUCH... THAT... REALLY... HURT!!!

After making sure she doesn't have any major injuries she spends a few
moments trying to get out of the ditch without success. She then takes off
her seat belt and gets out to inspect the damage to her car and to see if
there is any way to get the car out of the ditch. She gets a flashlight from
the trunk and walks to the front end of the car and sees only a slight dent.

Mary:   Well that doesn't look too bad... of course I'll be able to
  see better if I can get the front end out of this ditch. I
  don't suppose a tow truck will just happen by any time soon.
  Now I wish I had bought that stupid cell phone.

Just then Mary remembers what caused her to go off the road in the first
place. She turns to face the huge sphere blocking the road and then walks
toward it.

Mary:   Looks like a fifty foot bowling ball without finger holes...
  of course the finger holes could be on top. How in the world
  did this thing get here, it looks like it weighs about a
  hundred tons. Maybe I'm on Candid Camera or something. 

She reaches out to touch the sphere and as soon as she does she suddenly
feels very warm, then everything seems to fade and she is surrounded by
darkness.

Mary:   That's just great! First I wreck my car and now I'm blind! 

?@+%:  You are not blind. 

Mary:   What? Who said that? 

?@+%:   I do not think you could pronounce my name. Call me... Bob.

Mary:   Uh ok Bob. I uh need your help I wrecked my car and
  somehow I think it made me blind.

Bob:   As I have stated you are not blind. Your vision is only
  temporarily impaired due to the matter transportation beam.
  The beam was not calibrated for your species. Your sight
  should return momentarily.

Mary:   O...K... Um Bob you wouldn't happen to know of any mental
  institutions around here would you?

Bob:   No, I do not. 

Mary:   Just checking, I... Hey I think my sight is coming back. 

Mary blinked her eyes a few times, her vision was still blurry but it
appears to be much brighter out now than before she lost her sight. After
blinking a few more times her vision seems to return to normal. "Seems" 
being the key word, because Mary can't believe her eyes. She is standing in
the middle of a cube shaped room with shiny black walls, ceiling and floor
each a perfect ten foot square. The room has no obvious entrance or exit and
no apparent source of light. In one of the corners is a blue skinned,
slightly bald man about three feet tall. He is wearing a red robe that goes
all the way down to the floor. 

Mary:   Look Bob I just have three questions. Number one is, why are
  you painted blue? Number two is, Where am I? And number
  three is, how did I get here?

Bob:   I am not painted blue, this is my natural skin color. You
  are aboard what you would call a flying saucer. And you
  arrived here by way of a matter transportation beam which I
  mentioned earlier.

Mary:   Ok Bob... I've had a long day so I'm going to end this right
  now. I guess your supposed to be an alien... well do
  something alien like.

Bob:   Would mind reading be proof enough for you? 

Mary:   Don't you know already?

Bob:   You have to concentrate for me to read your mind. Please
  think of a number and concentrate on that number.

Mary thinks of a really big number and then concentrates on that number.

Bob:   The number is fourteen billion, three hundred fifty-five
  million one hundred thirty-six thousand five hundred
  eighteen. Is that proof enough?

Mary:   What!?! ... How?!? ... I... Uh...My name is Mary, welcome to
  Earth.

Bob:   Thank you.

Mary:   WOW! I can hardly believe it! I'm talking to a being from
  another world!

Bob:   Those are my thoughts as well.

Mary:  Do you mean I'm the first alien you've met?

Bob:  Yes, your planet is my first assignment and you...

Mary:  Excuse me, but did you say assignment? Are you here to study
  humans or something?

Bob:   That is part of my assignment. Allow me to explain. I am
  from the planet Yeiuzeran. A long time ago my people were on
  the brink of total self-annihilation. Our society had almost
  totally collapsed and wars were beginning to start on an
  almost weekly basis. Luckily for my people a great scientist
  discovered something that would save us from ourselves. He
  found a way to alter reality. At first he feared this new
  found ability, but he soon realized he could use it to stop
  the wars and bring peace to our planet. A few years after
  his discovery he brought the last of the fighting to an end
  and helped my people begin to rebuild our civilization. It
  was then that the scientist decided he wanted to bring peace
  to the entire universe. So he selected some volunteers and
  shared his discovery with them and then sent them out into
  the universe to give others this wonderful ability. That
   brings us to now, I am here to give you this.

Bob reaches inside his robe and pulls out a small object and hands it to
Mary. Mary takes it from him and inspects it. It is a black ring with a flat
circular top, in the circle is a gold numeral eight laying sideways. No
matter how Mary turns the ring the eight is always on its side.

Mary:   This is a lovely ring, but why are you giving it to me?

Bob:   It is an Infinity Ring, and with it you can alter reality
  and eventually bring peace to your world.

Mary:  WHAT?!? ME!?! I... I don't think I'm right for the job. Why
  don't you do it?

Bob:  I do not have the time. The universe is vast and I must
  visit countless other worlds.

Mary:   Why don't you alter reality so that you have the time.

Bob:   If only it were that easy, let me explain. As I said the
  scientist feared the power he discovered, all that power all
  at once would surely corrupt him. So he set many
  self-imposed limits as to what he was allowed to do. After
  some time had passed if he was ready for more power without
  being corrupted, one of the limits would be automatically
  lifted. He still does not have full access to all the power
  his ring offers and he may never be ready for such power.

Mary:   So the ring has limits?

Bob:   Yes, artificial ones. However they can be removed
  over a period of time based on the user.
 
Mary:   I see, but why did you pick me? Why not someone else? 

Bob:   There are various reasons. But they are not important right
  now.

Mary:   I still don't think I'm right for the job.

Bob:   Come now Mary, have you not always dreamed of doing good
  things for your fellow man, of righting wrongs and upholding
  the law? 

Mary:   Yeah, I guess I have. Ok I'll do it. Um... what do I do...

Bob:   Just put the ring on.

Mary:  OK, here goes nothing.

Mary takes a deep breath and carefully slides the ring onto her right index
finger and waits for something to happen. After a few seconds she exhales
loudly.

Mary:   OK now what? 

Bob:   I think I should give you some more information. First, you
  are currently limited to using the ring on yourself and even
  that is limited. You can change your appearance and your
  physical capabilities to some extent. You will be able to do
  more when the ring determines you are ready. The ring can
  respond to verbal and mental commands. I suggest you use
  verbal commands at first. It can determine if you really
  want it to do something or not. So you do not have to worry
  about a stray thought turning you into a frog or something.
  The ring will protect you both mentally and physically from
  outside harm and can not be removed from your finger by
  anyone but you. Of course you should not have any reason to
  remove it but if for some reason you do, make sure no one
  else puts it on. I think that covers all the information you
  need for now.  Do you have any questions?

Mary:   How is it you speak my language and how do you know so much
  about my world or me for that matter?

Bob:   The best way to answer that is to show you.

Mary watches as Bob holds his right hand out palm down and closes his eyes,
a second later a ring materializes around his index finger. The ring looks
like the one he gave Mary except it has a gold triangle in the circle on top
instead of a sideways eight.

Mary:   So your ring lets you speak my language and tells you about
  me and my world.

Bob:   Yes, I have had my ring for quite some time and so I can do
  more with mine. I like to make it invisible because males on
  my planet do not normally wear such things.

Mary:   I see your ring has a triangle instead of a sideways eight.

Bob:   Yes, the triangle is a symbol for infinity on my planet,
  just as a sideways eight is a symbol for infinity on yours.

Mary:   I guess you really do learn something new everyday.

Bob:   No, I do not believe I do. {Yaawwnn}. Excuse me I have been
  awake for two solar cycles and I fear it is beginning to
  take its toll on me.

Mary:   {Yaawwwnnn}... I know what you mean I was on my way home to
  get some sleep myself. 

Bob:   Perhaps we should continue our discussion at a later time. I
  need to remain on Earth for awhile to make preparations for
  my next journey. If you are ready to go I have calibrated
  the beam for your species and will transport you back
  outside.

Mary:   How do I contact you if I need too?

Bob:   Just concentrate on me and I will know you want to speak
  with me.

Mary:   Ok Bob energize or whatever.

Mary watches as Bob points to a seemingly blank spot on the wall and then
turns to face her. Then she begins to feel warm again and her vision blurs.
After a few seconds the warm feeling is gone and her vision clears. It's
still dark and she is standing outside a few feet away from the space ship.
Then she watches as the huge sphere lifts a few feet off the ground and
glides away from the road very slowly. After it travels about two hundred
feet it lands and then slowly fades until Mary can no longer see it.

Mary:   I guess that's one way to hide a fifty foot bowling ball.

Mary turns to go back to her car and suddenly realizes it's still stuck in a
ditch.

Mary:   Maybe I should contact Bob and see if he can help me get my
  car out of that ditch. Wait a minute what am I thinking I
  got a ring that alters reality. I should be able to use it
  to get my car unstuck. 

Mary sticks her arm out and points at the car.

Mary:   Ok ring move my car back onto the road.

Ring:   That is not allowed! 

Mary:   Hey you talked!

Ring:   ....

Mary:   Hey ring can you hear me?

Ring:   Yes. 

Mary:   What do you mean it isn't allowed?

Ring:   User is restricted by level one limits.

Mary:   Oh yeah. Now how am I going to get my car back on the road?
  Let's see Bob said I can change my appearance and um... oh
  yeah physical capabilities. That's it! I'll just make myself
  strong enough to move the car. 

Mary walks over to her car.

Mary:   Ok ring do your thing, make me stronger.

Almost instantly a strange feeling comes over Mary. She can't quite describe
it, if she had to she would say she feels like she's growing. Then it dawns
on her, she is growing! Her small body slowly expands to the size of a
female bodybuilder causing some of her clothes to tear. Her growth continues
until she is the size of a middleweight male bodybuilder. Most of her
clothes are now in a pile at her feet.

Mary:   WOW! I FEEL INCREDIBLE! I must be the strongest person in
  the world.

She goes to the front of her car reaches down and lifts the front end up
over her head then reaches underneath toward the middle with her other arm
and uses it to lift the entire car over her head. She stands there holding
it with ease.

Mary:   The strength... the power... I had no idea!! I... I WANT
  MORE!!! Ring give me more strength.. do you understand me?
  I want more. NOW!!!

Ring:   That is not allowed!

Mary:   WHAT!?! No I... I order you to give it to me... I need it...
  I... what am I saying? 

Mary quickly walks to the road and sets the car down gently.

Mary:   I don't know what came over me I'm so ashamed, but it felt
  so good... I...Ok ring... return me to normal.

Mary almost looks sad as she feels herself start to shrink back to her
normal size. 

Mary:   Well the car is back on the road, but now I'm naked. Ring
  make some clothes for me to wear.

Ring:   That is not allowed!

Mary:   Oh yeah, I'm restricted to appearance and physical
  capabilities. OK ring make me appear to be wearing clothes.

Almost instantly Mary seems to be wearing the same clothes she had on before
she grew out of them. She looks over and sees her original clothes are still
lying in the ditch. 

Mary:  Weird, I can see the clothes on my body but I still feel
  naked. I guess that's good enough until I get home.

Mary takes one last look around then gets into her car and starts her drive
home once again.

MEANWHILE...

Director: CUT!!! What's wrong Rex you look like your bored or
  something?

Rex:  I'm sorry. It's just that I don't find this woman attractive
  in the least.

Director: Your an actor in a porn movie. ACT LIKE YOU DO!

Rex:  I'm trying, but you know I like a little bit of muscle on my
  women. This woman is so scrawny it makes me feel like
  throwing up.

Amy:  I've got nice tits, don't I?

Rex:  They're a bit on the small side for my taste.

Director: Look Rex, I want to keep you happy. If you want I'll fire
  this chick and we can shoot this scene with Linda.

Rex:  Thanks. Sorry Amy I know it's your first day and everything
  but you don't turn me on at all. 

Director: That will be all Amy, you can pick up your check later in
  the week. 

Amy:  But ... but you said if I slept with you I could have the
  job.

Director: Yeah, and you had it for about twenty minutes. Now are you
  going to leave or do I have to call security.

Amy:  No, I'll leave.

Director: Good... Oh do me a favor and tell Linda to come in here on
  your way out.

Amy:  Yeah, sure whatever.

Amy quickly grabs a robe and heads back to the dressing room to get her
clothes.

Amy:  What a bunch of jerks. I can't believe I lost my job
  already. It's bad enough I didn't make enough money to pay
  my share of the rent this month. But I also missed out on
  being fucked by Rex Steelrod. THE Rex Steelrod! Just
  thinking of his bulging muscles and that huge dick of his...

Just then Amy rounds a corner and bumps into a woman with huge tits and
large muscles. 

Linda:  Excuse you, watch where you're going!

Amy:  Oh shut up you bitch.

Linda:  What did you just say!?!

Amy looks at the towering woman, her huge muscles glistening with the sweat
from a recent workout.

Amy:  Um... nothing... I uh, you're wanted on the set.

Linda:  Yeah, that's what I thought you said, now get out of my way.
  It seems they need a real woman on the set.

Amy meekly steps out of the way and watches as Linda strides down the hall
like she owns it. 

(Amy):  If only I was as big as her, I'd show her a thing or two.
  Oh well, that's not likely to happen any time soon. I wonder
  if she got kicked out of bodybuilding for being a bitch? Of
  course it was probably for using drugs or maybe even because
  she got implants. I guess I'll get dressed and go get chewed
  out by my roommate for losing another job. Sometimes I think
  Mary can be such a bitch. 

TWENTY MINUTES LATER...

Mary:  Almost home. Just twenty more minutes and I'll be able to
   climb into bed. I think I'll take the Main street bridge it
  shouldn't be very busy at this time of night and it'll cut
  ten minutes off my time.

Mary turns onto Main street and is surprised to see a lot of flashing lights
up by the bridge. As she gets closer she can see that the bridge is blocked
off by a couple of police cars and all the traffic is being diverted away
from the bridge. Just then a news helicopter flies overhead and heads right
for the bridge.

Mary:  I wonder what's going on?

Mary continues to drive toward the bridge and soon reaches the police
blockade.

Officer: Sorry lady, the bridge is closed.

Mary:  Why?

Officer: There has been an accident and a bus is partially hanging
  over the side of the bridge. We haven't been able to get the
  passengers out and it could fall at any minute.

Mary:  That's terrible!

Officer: Yeah, and we can't get a tow truck in here to pull the bus
  to safety because of some cars that crashed in front of and
  behind the bus. It's a real mess, but we're doing everything
  we can.  You should take the Fifth street bridge if you need
  to cross the river.

Mary:  Oh... thank you officer.

Mary turns her car onto the street which will take her to the fifth street
bridge. Then when she is out of sight of the police barricade she turns down
an alley, stops the car and gets out.

Mary:  I've got to save those people! Ok ring make me strong again.

The now familiar feeling of growth comes over Mary as her body increases in
size and strength. When she stops growing she looks down at her body.

Mary:  Why didn't my clothes rip... Oh yeah I forgot I'm not really
  wearing clothes. Maybe I should change my appearance,
  something in spandex perhaps.

As soon as Mary finished speaking she is instantly wearing a black one piece
spandex outfit. It hugs every curve of her new muscular body.

Mary:  Not bad, a little to plain though.

Again as soon as she finishes speaking her appearance changes. Now there is
a gold cape attached to the back of the outfit and a gold infinity symbol on
the front, her spandex covered breast sticking out of the holes in the
sideways eight. On her feet are a pair of gold knee high boots.

Mary:  That's much better... My god why am I wasting time on how I
  look, that bus can fall any second now.

Mary quickly runs back to the Main street bridge, but stops when she sees a
news crew interviewing a police officer. The officer she met a few minutes
earlier is nowhere in sight. 

Mary:  Great now I get to be on TV. I hope I'm not supposed to keep
  a low profile.  I'll have to ask Bob the next time I see
  him. But for now I'm gonna save those people.

Mary calmly walks up to the barricade and almost immediately the police
officer and news crew turn to look at her.

Officer: Who are you supposed to be?

Mary:  I don't have time to explain, I have to save those people.

Officer: Sorry lady, only authorized people are allowed on the
  bridge. I doubt a woman dressed up like some comic book
  super hero qualifies as authorized.

Mary:  But I can save them.

Officer: Uh huh, look miss if you want I can give you a ride to
  whatever hospital you escaped from, just sit in the back of
  that police car over there and wait...

Mary:  I don't have time for this.

Quickly Mary grabs the police officer by the front of his shirt and lifts
him off the ground then she lightly tosses him a few feet.

Mary:  Sorry about that.

Reporter: Tell me you got that!

Cameraman: I got that. Whatever that was I, got it.

Reporter: Good. Whatever you do keep that camera on her!

Mary ignores her captive audience and quickly heads for the bus. When she
reaches it she sees that a white van apparently crashed into the back of
the bus and is blocking the emergency exit. The bus is teetering over the
side of the bridge and the passengers inside are doing there best not to
move.

Mary:  Well I'm here now what, even if I move that van the
  passengers can't get out because if they move too much the
  bus could fall off the bridge. Unless I hold onto it until
  they escape!

Mary rushes over to stand between the van and the bus. She grabs the back of
the bus with one hand and with her other she gives the van a push. She
underestimates her strength and the van goes flying off the other side of
the bridge. The sight makes her lose her grip on the bus for a second and
the bus begins going over the side of the bridge.

Mary:  NO!

Quickly Mary grabs the bus with her other hand just as it is about to fall.
The people inside begin screaming as the strange woman begins losing the
battle with gravity.

Mary:  I'm not strong enough! Ring make me stronger!

Ring:  That is not allowed!

Mary:  It's not for my personal benefit, I have to save these
  people. Please make me stronger.

Ring:  User is ready for level 2 restrictions.

The ring glows with a golden light for a second and then Mary feels herself
growing again. Her big muscles begin expanding to even greater size as
unbelievable power flows into them. Soon the bus feels lighter and she
begins to pull it to safety. The bus continues to feel lighter which each
passing second and even when she is done pulling it and the bus is safe her
growth continues. Larger and larger she grows, until finally she is the size
of a heavyweight male bodybuilder. The passengers quickly climb out of the
bus and some stop to thank her. A few seconds later the news crew comes up
to her.

Reporter: That was incredible! Who are you!? How did you do that?!

Mary:  Uh... my name is... uh... 

(Mary):  Great what am I gonna call myself. Super Mary?  Superwoman?
  I have to decide on something fast.

Mary:  Umm... Just call me... Infinity Woman.

(Mary):  Infinity Woman?!? Gee there's a panic induced name if I ever
  heard one.

(Reporter):  Infinity Woman?!? What an awful name. I would have guessed
  Superwoman or something like that.

Reporter: So um... Infinity Woman how is it you're so strong?

Mary:  Well that's a secret.

Reporter: Where are you from?

Mary:  That's a secret too.

Reporter: Is there anything you CAN tell us.

Mary:  I... I have to leave.

The reporter and the cameraman watch as Mary begins walking away.

(Mary):  Great now how am I going to get home without being followed?
  Ring can you hear my thoughts?

(Ring):  Yes.

(Mary):  Can you suggest a way for me to get home unseen?

(Ring):  Yes. Become invisible.

(Mary):  I didn't mean it literally, but ok make me invisible.

(Reporter):  She's just going to walk away. I thought she might fly or
  something. Maybe I can follow her and...

Just then Mary disappears and the reporter turns to the cameraman.

Reporter: Did you see that, she just vanished?

Cameraman: I saw that. Whatever that was, I saw it.

Reporter:  Well don't just stand there we have to get this tape to the
  studio!

TEN MINUTES LATER...

Mary:  Hello! Amy are you here! No answer... good. Home at last!
  What a day! First I nearly wreck my car and... MY CAR! I
  left it in that alley. Oh well, I guess it will be ok, right
  now I just want to take a long shower and then get some
  sleep. 

Mary walks into her bedroom and looks into her full length mirror, she is a
little surprised to not see her reflection.

Mary:  Ring make me visible again. 

Mary watches in the mirror as she suddenly becomes visible again. She looks
over her spandex clad super body and admirers her new shape.

Mary:  WOW! I'm sexy, if I do say so myself. Ring remove the
  appearance of clothes.

The ring obeys immediately and Mary is left standing naked in front of her
mirror. She raises her right arm and flexes it, and is amazed at the size it
reaches.

Mary:  OH YEAH! Holy... I'm turning myself on! I better quit or I
  might just... better not think about it. I'll just
  concentrate on taking a shower. Hmm, I wonder if this ring
  is water proof? Bob said I shouldn't have any reason to take
  off the ring, but maybe he doesn't have water on his planet.
  I know I'll just ask the ring. Ring are you waterproof?

Ring:  That information is not allowed!

Mary:  WHY?!?

Ring:  Direct information pertaining to Infinity rings is
  restricted to level ten users.

Mary:  Oh well, I'll just take it off to be safe. I'll ask Bob
  about it tomorrow.

Mary walks over to her jewelry box and puts the ring inside. She is
pleasantly surprised to see she that her size and strength remain.

Mary:  I'll change back to normal after my shower, Amy shouldn't be
  home for a couple of hours at least. Besides I want to enjoy
  this wonderful feeling of power for a little bit longer.

Mary walks into the bathroom and closes the door then she turns on the water
and gets in the shower.

ONE MINUTE LATER...

Amy:  Home at last! What a day! First I lose my job and... That's
  strange, sounds like Mary's in the shower. I didn't see her
  car outside, great if it got stolen she'll probably blame
  me. Just because I stole some of her stuff to cover my share
  of the rent once. Speaking of rent I'm really in for a
  lecture when she finds out I can't pay my share again this
  month. If only I had something worth selling. Maybe I can
  pawn something of hers, something she won't notice is gone
  this time. I got it! She has a huge collection of jewelry
  she never wears. I'll just take a few pieces and pawn them,
  then when I get another job I'll buy them back. She'll never
  know.

Amy quickly but quitely walks into Marys' bedroom and locates Marys' jewelry
box. After opening it up she picks out some items that look like they might
be worth some money. She takes a long gold chain necklace, a gold ring and a
black ring with a gold sideways eight on it. She examines the last ring
carefully.

Amy:  Hmm... could be obsidian and gold. I've never seen her wear
  this, so I guess she won't notice it missing. Well that
  should be enough, I better get out of here before she gets
  out of the shower. Besides Micky's Pawn shop closes in an
  hour.

Amy quickly closes the jewelry box and rushes out the apartment door. She
walks down the road for ten minutes until she is outside the pawn shop. She
stops in front of the display window and thinks about what she is about to
do.

Amy:  I feel terrible about this but I don't have much choice,
  maybe...

She stops in mid sentence when something in the display window catches her
eye. On a television in the display window she sees what looks like a news
report. She sees a large woman wearing black spandex with a gold cape
holding onto the back of a bus. It looks like she's trying to stop it from
falling off a bridge but is having trouble. Suddenly the woman begins to
grow and then she slowly pulls the bus to safety. When she stops growing she
turns to face the camera.

Amy:  MARY!?!?! That woman look like Mary, but those muscles! This
  must be some kind of joke.

As if on cue the words "not a hoax" begin flashing at the bottom of the
screen. Amy watches in total amazement as a reporter approaches the woman
and begins to interview her.

Amy:    IT IS MARY! BUT HOW! That symbol on her chest seems
  familiar. Where have I seen that before? THE RING!!

Amy quickly pulls the jewelry from her pocket letting the necklace and the
gold ring fall to the ground. She grasps the black ring tightly in her
fingers and holds it up to the TV behind the window.

Amy:  Right there! I saw it. She was wearing this ring! I
  wonder... can this ring...

Amy quickly slides the ring onto her finger, suddenly the ring sparks a
little and she hears someone talking.

Ring:  Malfunction! Incorrect User! No Limits Set For Current User!
  Malfunction!

Amy:  Who's saying that!?

Ring:  Infinity Ring THX1138

Amy looks at the ring with surprise.

Amy:  You can talk?!

Ring:  Yes.

Amy:  COOL! Uh... can you make me strong like you did Mary?

Ring:  Yes.

Amy:  Great, I can hardly wait to see the look on the face of that
  bitch Linda, when I pick her up with one hand. Hehe, I wish
  she were here right now, then I could...

Before Amy can finish her sentence there is a gold flash of light and Linda
appears in the middle of the deserted street, completely naked. She has her
back to Amy and is on her knees, bouncing up and down.

Linda:  Oh YES. Oh God. Rex your... WHAT THE FUCK!? Where the hell
  am I!?

Linda quickly stands up and turns around to face Amy and a look of rage
comes over her. Amy takes a step back.

Linda:  You! How the fuck did I get here!

Amy:  I... I don't...

Linda walks up to Amy and grabs her by the front of her shirt and shakes her
violently.

Linda:  Is this some kind of joke!?!

Amy:  NO! I...

Linda:  Never mind! Give me your clothes! They're small but I can't
  go around naked or I'll get arrested.

Amy stares at Linda with a look of confusion on her face.

(Amy):  What's going on? How did Linda just appear like that. I was
  about to use the ring to... It must have been the ring. I
  wonder what else it can do.

Linda:  Well what are you waiting for, give me your clothes!

Amy:  N... no.

Linda:  Did you just say no to me?!? That does it, I'm going to beat
  you so bad...

Amy:  Ring, make me stronger. 

Linda opens her mouth to ask Amy what she just said, but the gold glow now
surrounding Amy makes her forget what she was about to say. Suddenly there
is a ripping sound. Linda looks down at Amys' pants and sees some fairly
impressive muscles peeking out of the torn pants. Then there is some more
ripping sounds, this time from Amys' sleeves. Linda watches as Amy smiles
and flexes her arms. Huge muscles tear holes in the soft fabric. Linda looks
at Amy in total shock.

Linda:  What the... your growing! YOUR FUCKING GROWING!

Amy grabs Linda by the throat with both hands and with a bit of effort lifts
the woman off the ground. Linda gasps for air as she watches Amy continue to
grow. Just then Mickey looks out from a window of the pawn shop and the
sight he sees causes him to faint.

Amy:  YES! OH God yes! I feel so gooood!

Amy removes one hand from Lindas' throat and raises the confused woman even
higher into the air. By now all of Amys' clothes have been torn off by her
growing body. Amy looks down and flexes one of her legs. She almost drops
Linda at the sight of the bulging muscles.

Amy:  Soooo strong. Hahaha. I never could have imagined...

Just as Amy reaches about six and a half feet tall she stops growing. She
looks around as if for the first time, then she looks at Linda, who looks
like she might pass out at any second. Amy drops Linda and looks down at
her.

Amy:  Hehehehe. Looks like I'm in charge now!

Linda:  What {cough} the hell happened?

Amy:  Oh shut up you whore. Still I am curious about a few things
  myself? Ring how did Linda get here.

Ring:  She was transported here by folding space until the
  dimensional boundaries...

Amy:  That's not what I meant.

Linda:  You have a {wheeze} talking ring?

Amy:  I thought I told you to shut up?!

Amy reaches down and picks Linda up by the throat again, then gently tosses
her across the street and into a parked car. Linda screams in pain as she
slams into the car and causes a huge dent. 

Amy:  Now then. Ring, I want to know why Linda appeared.

Ring:  You wanted her here.

Amy:  So you can transport people.

Ring:  Yes.

Amy:  Can you do other things.

Ring:  Yes.

Amy:  Ok what else can you do.

Ring:  Anything.

Amy:  You mean you can transport anything?

Ring:  No. This unit can do anything the user wants.

Amys' jaw nearly hits the ground. Lindas' jaw does hit the ground as she
stumbles away from the damaged car and falls face first to the street. Linda
recovers from her fall before Amy recovers from the shocking statement.

Amy:  You mean I... I can have anything I want?!?

Ring:  Yes.

Linda stands up and staggers forward.

Linda:  Help me {ughh} I think my {cough} ribs are broken.

Amy:  Are you still here?

Linda:  Please it {wheeze} hurts!

Amy:  Ok this will make a good test. Ring heal her injuries.

A gold glow surrounds Linda, after a few moments the glow fades and the pain
Linda was experiencing is obviously gone.

Linda:  Thank you... uh... Amy wasn't it?

Amy:  Oh don't thank me yet, you bitch. I'm not done. Ring make
  Linda ninety years old.

Linda:  WHAT?!? NO!

Suddenly there is a brief flash of gold light and Linda looks down at her
naked body and sees wrinkled skin.

Linda:  I feel {wheeze} so weak.

Amy:  Hmm, those muscles of yours aged pretty good. Ring add...
  oh, four hundred pounds of fat to her.

Linda:  {Ghhk} No {cough}.

A now familiar gold glow surrounds Linda and when it is gone she weighs four
hundred pounds more. The weight is too much for her frail form and she
topples to the ground. Also the faint sound of crying can be heard.

Amy:  That's better, but it still needs something. I know, ring
  give her thick coarse hair all over her body. 

Once again the gold glow encompasses Linda and thick hair begins sprouting
all over her old and large form. When the hair stops growing Amy walks over
to Linda and picks her up with ease.

Amy:  Wow this ring really can do anything. Your the most hideous
  thing I've ever seen.

Disgusted by her creation Amy tosses Linda across the street and into the
side of another car. The impact knocks the car back a few feet and Linda
lies next to it in a heap.

Amy:  She's so gross. There's no reason I should have to look at
  her. Ring make Linda invisible to everyone but herself.

Suddenly Linda vanishes from site, and Amy is left alone on the deserted
street. Amy looks at the ring on her finger.

Amy:  Anything... I can have anything. Now, what do I want?

Amy looks around and sees her reflection in the pawn shop window.

Amy:  I want... I want huge tits... and... bigger muscles and I
  want to be taller. Oh and stronger, I want to be a lot
  stronger.

The ring on her finger glows for a few seconds and Amy begins to grow. First
her breasts, then her muscles and then she gains height. Bigger and bigger
she grows until she is eight feet tall with outrageous muscles and breasts.
Amy examines herself in the window.

Amy:  YES! That will do for now. I'm in the mood for more revenge.
  Ring, I want Rex Steelrod here right now.

There is a flash of light and suddenly Rex Steelrod is standing five feet
from Amy. His six foot body is dwarfed by the towering Amy. He's wearing a
robe and looks very confused.

Rex:  ...inda where are... What the hell!? What's going on? First
  Linda disappears and then while I'm looking for her I blink
  and I'm suddenly standing in the street.

He turns around and sees Amy smiling at him.

Rex:  What the fuck! Amy is that you? You're fucking huge! Can you
  tell me what in hell is going on here. Please Amy!

Amy:  Ooohh, I like that. Keep begging, but I want you to call me
  Empress.

The ring glows for a brief second.

MEANWHILE...

(Mary):  Oh man this new body of mine is fantastic. I've never felt
  so alive. Just taking a shower is like a whole new
  experience.

Suddenly there is a flash of gold light and Bob appears right in front of
Mary.

Mary:  BOB!! I'm in the shower!

Bob:  That is not important right now. We have a catastrophe to
  deal with.

Bob reaches for the knobs that turn on the hot and cold water and turns them
off.

Mary:  What are you talking about?

Bob:  I just finished making some preparations for my next trip
  and I decided to check on you and your ring. Imagine my
  surprise when I found you were not wearing it.

Mary:  Is that all? I wasn't sure if it was ok to get it wet so I
  took it off. It's in the next room.

Bob:  No, it is not. It is approximately four blocks east of here. 

Mary:  WHAT?!? How did it get...

Bob:  Your roommate Amy is using it to torture people.

Mary:  Amy...she wouldn't... well ok she would. But how did she
  know about it?

Bob:  She may have seen you use it. Try to remember, have you been
  seen using it?

Mary:  Uh... Maybe. Well, ok I sort of saved a bus full of people
  and there was a news crew and...

Bob:  Did I not instruct you to not use the ring in front of
  others? 

Mary:  No, you must have forgot, you were pretty tired. I take it I
  was supposed to keep a low profile.

Bob:  Yes. However there is nothing that can be done about it now.

Mary:  I'm... I'm sorry Bob, I should have known better.

Bob:  Do not blame yourself. It was my error that put the universe
  at risk.

Mary:  What do you mean?

Bob:  Due to uncontrollable circumstances, each Infinity Ring must
  have user specific limits. Your ring was made to limit what
  you, and only you, could do with it. Because your ring was
  not created with limits for your roommate, she has full
  access to all of the rings' power. Also since the ring was
  not made for her, it may not function correctly. It may, for
  example, misinterpret a command. The wrong thought could
  destroy reality itself.

Mary:  Then I'll have to get it back.

Bob:  That may not be possible. By now she is surely addicted
  to the power she possesses. I doubt she will be willing to
  give it up.

Mary:  Can you make another ring?

Bob:  Yes, but it will take five of your days to do so.

Mary:  Hmm... Why don't you use your ring to stop her?

Bob:  I currently have level three limits. I would not stand a
  chance.

Mary:  Ok then give me your ring. I won't be restricted by your
  limits.

Bob:  I can not do that. It goes against...

Mary:  Look Bob we don't have much choice. Every second we spend
  here talking about it, Amy is hurting people. Not to mention
  putting the entire universe at risk.

Bob:  ... ... ... Very well. Please be careful.

Bob takes off his ring and hands it to Mary, she quickly slides it on her
right index finger. The ring sparks a little.

Ring:  Malfunction! Incorrect User! No Limits Set For Current User!
  Malfunction!

Mary:  Alright ring calm down! I guess I'll need something to wear. 

As soon as Mary finishes speaking she is wearing an outfit similar to the
one she wore on the bridge except this one has a gold triangle pointing down
on the front. Just like the triangle on Bobs' ring.

Mary:  Is there anything I need to know?

Bob:  Well, normally a ring can only be removed by its wearer,
  but since the ring your roommate is wearing was made for
  you, it might be possible for you to remove it.

Mary:  Do you think she could remove the ring I'm wearing now?

Bob:  It is difficult to say. You should be careful just in case.
  Remember my ring should protect you from direct changes from
  her ring but even that is uncertain.

Mary:  Is that it?

Bob:  Just be careful, even if both rings are functioning
  correctly the situation is very dangerous. 

Mary:  Don't worry Bob. Remember I was chosen to use the ring to
  help bring peace to the universe.

Bob:  Actually, I have a confession to make. Though I am ashamed
  to admit it. You may not have been the best choice.

Mary:  WHAT!?! But I thought you picked me out of everyone else on
  the planet.

Bob:  It took me weeks to narrow the approximately four billion
  choices down to one million. It would have taken many months
  more to find the best choice of that million. I fear I grew 
  impatient to continue my travels. Yours is the first alien
  civilization I have visited. I was eager to see others.

Mary:  So your telling me there might be a million people more
  qualified than me?

Bob:  No. I used some shortcuts to narrow the choices down to ten
  thousand. It took me two full days to do so, that is why I
  was so tired when we first met. I randomly chose you from
  the ten thousand. I am sorry.

Mary:  That ok. There's a one in ten thousand chance that I am the
  best choice. I like those odds. If... After I get my ring
  back, you can sort through the first million the proper way
  and make sure I'm the right person to give it to. Right now,
  just wish me luck.

Bob:  Good luck Mary.

Mary:  Ok here goes. Ring take me to Amy.

Suddenly there is a gold flash and Mary is gone. Bob looks around the shower
then gets out. He grabs a towel and dries off. Without his ring he is stuck
in Mary's apartment.

FOUR BLOCKS AWAY...

There is a gold flash of light and Mary finds herself standing in the middle
of a street. The scene in front of her is more than she was ready for.
Twenty feet in front of her is a huge throne made out of solid gold. Sitting
on the throne is a huge woman about fifteen feet tall with huge muscles and
breasts. The woman looks vaguely like Amy. To the right and left of the
throne are two men who look like two of Amys' former boyfriends. They are
wearing nothing but pink ballerina skirts and are fanning the huge woman
with giant feathers. In front of the throne are what look like two women
Mary can almost identify. They are lying still on the ground and if they
weren't horrible disfigured Mary is sure she could remember their names.
Next to the two women is a well built man who looks like he should be a
porn star. He is simply on his hands and knees in front of the throne.

Mary:  Amy! What have you done!?!

Amy:  That's Empress Amy now!

Amy gets up out of her throne and strides over to Mary. With each step the
fifteen foot woman takes the ground shakes slightly. In just a few steps she
is standing in front of Mary looking down.

Amy:  Since we were friends I won't punish your mistake this time.
  HAHAHAHA. Well Mary what do you think of Empress Amy?

Mary:  Empress? Empress of what?

Amy:  The world of course! You always were a little stupid. Maybe
  I'll change that, make you more stupid. Hehehe.

Mary:  You're insane! You have to stop...

Amy:  I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING! I'm in charge now!

Mary stares up into her roommates eyes and is terrified. Amy reaches down
and picks up Mary with one hand.

Amy:  Don't you get it? I'm unstoppable. I can make everyone on
  this stinking planet obey me without question. HAHAHAHA.

Mary:  Please Amy, listen...

Amy:  I told you I'm Empress Amy now!

Mary feels Amys' grip tighten and screams in pain as even her super body is
slowly crushed.

Mary:  {aggghhh} R...ing make {uhhh} me the {uuaagghh} same as Amy.

A gold glow surrounds Mary and she feels herself begin to grow. Amy notices
her growth and quickly uses both hands to try to crush her. Suddenly Amys'
arms begin to shake with effort, but Mary continues to grow. When Mary is
half Amys' size, Amy decides to throw her. She isn't able to throw her very
far and Mary doesn't even cry out when she hits the ground. She just stands
up and flexes her growing muscles. After a few seconds Mary is the same as
Amy in every way.

Mary:  SOOOO MUUUCCHHH FUUCKIING POOOWWWEEERRRRR! HAHAHAHAHA! I
  FEEL FUCKING INVINCIBLE! 

In all the time Amy has known Mary she has never heard her swear. She backs
away from the stranger that was once her roommate. Mary points at Amy.

Mary:  YOU! BOW DOWN TO ME! BOW DOWN TO MARY THE UNSTOPPABLE!

Amy looks at Mary with confusion.

(Amy):  Holy shit, what's wrong with her. She made herself the same
  as me. The power must be making her crazy. Is that how I am?

Mary:  I ordered you to bow bitch!

Amy:  Wait I...

Mary picks up a truck and throws it at Amy. The impact knocks Amy through
a building.

Mary:  All who defy me shall die! HAHAHAHAHA!

Mary starts picking up cars and crushing them with ease. Amy climbs out of
the wrecked building and rushes Mary hoping to knock her down. Mary sees her
coming and braces herself, when Amy slams into her she just takes a few
steps back. Then Mary grabs Amy by the throat and lifts her off the ground. 

Amy:  Ring {cough} make me ...

Before Amy can finish Mary grabs her hand and pulls off the ring. Mary
smiles and crushes it with ease, sending gold sparks everywhere.

Mary:  No one is going to be more powerful than me, you fucking
  whore! Now to take my place as rightful ruler of the world!

Mary drops Amy and turns to walk towards the huge throne.

Amy:  Wait please, you don't know what your doing. Listen to me,
  please. I was like you until I saw what the power has done
  to you. It's changed you!

Mary:  Yes, it's made me better! Better than everyone else.

Amy:  No, it's made you evil. Just like it did me. Look around,
  look at what I did. Please don't be like I was.

Mary takes a slow look around. She sees crushed cars and wrecked buildings.
She sees two disfigured women and three mindless men. She sees herself in
the window of a nearby building. A tear crawls down her face.

Mary:  A... Amy... What's happened to me? I don't want to {sob}
  hurt {sniff} anyone.

Amy:  The ring. Take off the ring.

Mary looks at the ring on her finger and suddenly takes it off and flings it
into a nearby crushed car. The ring slowly begins to shrink.

Mary:  Oh Amy, I'm so sorry. I just wanted to stop you and then I
  had all that power and...

Amy:  I know, but I should be the one apologizing. If I hadn't
  taken the ring...

Mary:  It's a good thing you're really a good person deep down or
  who knows what...

Amy:  Yeah, hey how are we supposed to get back to normal?

Mary:  I'm not sure maybe Bob...

Ring:  Malfunction! Incorrect User! No Limits Set For Current User!
  Malfunction!

Mary and Amy both look at the ring over by the car. They are both surprised
to see it floating in the air a few inches off the ground.

?????:  Return me {wheeze} to {cough} normal.

Suddenly there is a flash of light and the two women see what looks like a
naked woman lying on the street. The naked woman gets up and Amy gasps.

Amy:  LINDA! I forgot all about you!

Mary:  You know her?

Amy:  I... I used the ring to ... to get revenge on her. I'm sorry
  Linda, I wasn't myself.

Linda:  SORRY!?! YOU'RE SORRY? You're going to be more than sorry.
  Now that I have this!

Linda holds up her hand with the ring on it.

Mary:  Please, uh... Linda take off the ring you don't know what...

Linda:  Oh I know, I've seen you both use them. I just want or ask
  for something and I get it. Now let me see is there anything
  I want... Oh yeah now I remember... I want to be a goddess!
  Ring... make me all-powerful!

Mary and Amy both watch in total horror as a gold glow surrounds Linda. It
builds in brightness until finally they can no longer see Linda and are
forced to look away. Suddenly the glow is gone and they can look again.
Linda is gone, where she was standing is perfection and power in the form of
a woman, a goddess.

LINDA:  Insignificant... life, the universe, everything, it's all so
  unimportant.  I can do anything... I can do more than
  anything.

Linda points at the night sky and her eyes glow gold for a second. Mary and
Amy look up and see the impossible. The stars are moving closer to each
other. As they shift some change color and when they are done they form a
perfect picture of Linda.

Mary:  NO! Please stop, no one should have that kind of power.

Linda looks up at the two women, her eyes glow for a second and suddenly Amy
and Mary are on their hands and knees. Then Linda begins to grow in less
than a second she is ten feet tall. A moment later she is twenty, then
thirty feet. She grows and grows until she is fifty feet tall. She looks
down at the two women.

Linda:  Fool! I am Power now. You are nothing to me! You exist only
  because I allow it. 

Mary:  What... What are you going to do now?

LINDA:  Bring peace to the universe. MY UNIVERSE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
