Kendra's Captives by Ace Corona A man recounts an experience when he was younger when a female friend acquired shrunken captives One day when I was sixteen, I was hanging out at the beach when I heard about a party at Kendra's, so I decided to go check it out. The sun was setting in the west, and the party was in full swing at Kendra's house. The front porch light was on, the front door was open, and some of the people at the party were standing in the front yard holding their plastic cups full of beer. The beer keg was in the kitchen, surrounded by eager teenagers trying to get drunk. Kayla had stepped in dog crap in the back yard, where some of the party goers were hanging out, so she took off her shoes and socks and walked bare-footed through the living room, to the front yard. Kayla was a green-eyed blonde, wearing a miniskirt and a tee-shirt. Some of the guys couldn't stop staring at her beautiful legs. Kendra was a blue-eyed brunette who lived at the house where the party was. As Kendra and some of the other teens stood around talking, a purple haze formed off to the left of the house in the street, and a Lhamborghini materialized and pulled up next to the curb in front of the house. A brown-haired woman who looked like an older version of Kendra got out, and approached the house. "Kendra! I've got to talk with you! Come with me!" The teenage version of Kendra went with the older version of herself, and they left in the fancy car. The purple haze formed again, the car de-materialized, then the purple haze re-formed behind where the car had been parked, and the car materialized once again, and pulled up to where it had been only moments earlier. Teenage Kendra got out with a paper sack, and the car disappeared once again into the purple haze, and never came back. "She was a time traveler!" Kendra explained to the group who had gathered in front of the house. "She was an older version of me! Look what we collected!" Kendra dumped out the paper sack, and seven miniaturized people tumbled out onto the grassy yard. "All these guys are child molesters who were listed on the Megan's law database!" As soon as bare-footed Kayla heard this, she lifted her right leg and stepped forward, stomping one of the tiny men into the ground. After her foot came down, she scraped her foot back and forth from the left to the right several times. "Don't stomp on the rest of them, " Kendra instructed, "I've got plans for them!" Kendra scooped up the remaining captives and carried them inside the house, and dropped them on the kitchen table. Kayla followed her inside. "How is this possible?" Kayla asked. "I mean, I understand the time travel part, but how did these guys get shrunk? I thought miniaturization was impossible!" "The way it was explained to me," Kendra answered, "was that atoms are made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Those three particles are made up of quark particles, that are held together by gluons. Somehow, the outer layers of these quark and gluon particles of the atoms of their bodies were converted into neutrinos, and they flew off into space and through the earth. It's called neutrino dissimilation!" Kendra got an empty plastic up, filled it with beer, then she took one of the captives and dropped him in. "Who's with me? Whoever can drink a whole cup of beer with a captive inside, wins!" Jenny, Stacy, April, and Summer all set their cups of beer down on the table, and each of them collected a captive, and dropped him into their cups. Kendra began the countdown. "Five, four, three, two, one, go!" The five teens rushed to drink the cups of beer. The other guys and girls in the room could see the progress of each girl by how far each cup was tilted. Summer was in the lead, but April was gaining ground. Summer finished her beer while the other girls were still drinking, and then Stacy and April were tied for second place. Jenny finished third, and Kendra was last. There was one captive remaining. Kayla went and got the crushed captive she had stepped on in the front yard, and brought him into the kitchen. He was as dead as dirt, but Kayla dropped him into a blender, poured some beer in, and turned the blender on. He was ground into a pulp, and Kayla turned off the blender, and took the lid off. "Anybody in the mood for a smoothie?" Nobody was interested, so Kayla ended up pouring it into the sink. Kendra, however, got the last captive and held him by his ankles above her mouth. As she lowered him down, the teens in the room began chanting, "Do it! Do it! Do it!" Once the captive was in Kendra's mouth, he began screaming for mercy. This just made Kendra smile. The chanting continued, and Kendra swallowed him. What did that captive feel, as he glided down Kendra's throat? Did he hold onto a last ray of hope, hoping that Kendra would vomit him up after found himself crashing to the depths of her belly? If that was so, his wish never came true. Kendra never puked when she drank beer, she could hold her liquor better than anyone. These events happened back in 2007, when I was sixteen. It's been around twenty years, but I felt that this story should be told. I never did find out where Kendra got the time machine. I tried bringing it up several times over the years, but she just changed the subject and acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. The captives? I never felt sorry for them, because I figured they got what they deserved in the end. It just goes to show that if you try to hurt people smaller than you, someone bigger might come along to do the same to you. Like the old Twilight Zone episodes said, what comes around, goes around!
