on april second, michael, tom, mina, and rina checked their emails,
and to their astonishment, they each saw an email from phoenix
productions, stating that they had been selected to star in an
upcoming movie.  the email stated that they had to be in los angeles
by may first, and that they had to check in at the avalon hotel,
located next to phoenix producations.  they were also told that a
contract was going to be mailed to them by express mail, and that it
had to be signed and returned within a week, or else the contract
would be null and void.  beyond that, no more infomation was included
in the email.  all that michael, tom, rina, and mina knew about the
movie that they were going to star in was that it was a 'romanic drama
with an international flavor', as indicated in the webpage of the
movie on the internet.

michael and tom both lived in new york, and they sent emails to
phoenix productions, asking for more detail about the movie, such as
the script, who else was in the movie, etc, but they never got a
response back.  it seemed a little strange to them at first, but given
that this was probably their only shot at a movie, they decided not to
press the matter further.  so, once they got the contracts in the
mail, they immediately signed and returned them.  meanwhile, halfway
across the world in india, mina and rina also got their contracts.
unlike michael and tom, they really didn't think too much about the
details of the movie, as they were too happy at having been selected.
so they immediately signed their contracts as well, and returned them.
each person spent the next month getting ready for their trip, and
finally, they all got on their respective planes, and arrived in los
angeles on april thirtieth, and checked into the avalon hotel.

michael, tom, mina, and rina each got a good night's sleep, and woke
up the next morning.  given that may first happened to be a saturday,
they all had the weekend to rest, and do some sight-seeing in los
angeles.  on sunday night a messenger from phoenix productions took
four packages to the hotel, and dropped them off at the hotel rooms of
michael, tom, mina, and rina, and instructed them to report to the
premises of phoenix productions located across the street promptly at
9 am.  when michael opened his package, all he saw was a picture of
mina's face, stating that she was going to be his co-star.  upon
seeing mina's gorgeous face, with its feminine and exotic features,
michael felt butterflies in his stomach.

tom opened his package next, and he in turn saw a picture of rina's
face, stating that she was to be his co-star.  tom also felt
butterflies in his stomach once he saw rina's feminine and exotic
features.  meanwhile, mina and rina had also opened their packages,
and had been greeted with the pictures of michael's and tom's
masculine and chiseled facial features.  upon reading that these two
men were going to be their co-stars, the two indian beauties couldn't
help but sigh in pleasure.  of course, beyond a picture of the face of
their co-stars, no one knew anything else about the physical
appearance of their partners.  they all went to bed that night at
around midnight, full of excitement about the upcoming day, and their
part in a 'romantic drama with an international flavor'
