Blood is Thicker... 4

A bookstore downtown

		Wally was amoung the 
bookshelves browsing.  He takes out one book and flips through it, he then 
decides to buy it as he walks up to the counter.  As he turns around a 
corner he bumps into someone and knocks her books to the floor.
		"Oh 
sorry!"  He says and kneels to help her pick up the books.
		"That's okay."  
She says.
		Wally then notices that it was Jazzmine from the gym.  She was 
wearing a light spring dress, loose fitting and kept her arms and neck 
bare.
		"Oh...uh...hi!"  He says.
		"Hi."  She replies, also recognizing 
him.
		"Um...how are you?"  Wally says.
		"Fine."  She says as they both 
stand.  "How are you ?"
		"I'm okay."
		They both walk up to the counter, 
Wally isn't really knowing what to say.  He notices that she's carrying a 
book about Claud Monet.
		"You like Monet?"  He asks.
		"Oh...yes I 
do...he's great.  I'm taking a painting class."  She replies.
		"Cool.  I'm 
going to be taking a drawing class."  Wally says holding up the book he was 
buying, it was a drawing book.
		"You draw?"  She asks.
		"Kinda."  He says. 
  "I haven't done it in a while, but I want to get better."
		"That's what 
school's for!"  She says putting her books on the counter and paying the 
cashier.  "College is a LOT better than high school!"
		"Yeah you can take 
night classes, you don't have to go everyday...."  Wally says.
		One thing 
Wally couldn't put his finger on was that there was something wrong with 
her.  He could sense it but could not place exactly what was wrong.  What he 
didn't know was that Jazzmine was upset about having sex with her boyfriend. 
  She didn't want to and was regretting it big-time.
		"My mom is big into 
painting, so I know a lot about painters."  Wally says as they both leave 
the book store.
		"I'm not too big into the cubists."  Jazzmine says.  "I 
like the artist who can draw the human figure well."
		"Um...say..."  Wally 
says.  "I don't suppose if you're busy you'd like to get some coffee or 
something...talk more about art!"
		"I don't drink coffee."  Jazzmine 
says.
		"Oh..."  Wally says in regret.
		"But I DO eat."  She 
says.
		"OH!"

Principal William's home

		The principal drives up to his 
house and walks up to the front door.  He takes out keys to unlock the front 
door when suddenly he senses something...as if someone was behind him!  He 
turns quickly to see John in his demon form standing there, NOT looking 
happy!  John grabs the man by the throat and picks him up, Principal 
Williams gags and struggles to no avail.  John then puts him down on his 
back on the porch.  He holds up his other hand which glows a light 
red.
		"Don't worry..."  He says.  "This won't hurt....MUCH!"
		John puts 
his hand on the man's forehead.  He draws from the man's mind any and all 
information that he needed.  He see's him firing Morgalla, he then goes back 
in the day, further back in his memory to finally see Cynthia Wall telling 
him the lies about his wife.  John then lets him go.
		"Thank you."  He says 
and flies off, leaving the principal there in pain.

Downtown

		Morgalla 
stood on the roof of one building, Melody in her arms and Jeepers sitting at 
her feet.  She runs through her mind the events of the day, trying to figure 
everything out.  Then Melody starts to cry.
		"Shhh..."  She quietly says 
trying to sooth her daughter.  "It's okay."
		Morgalla then suddenly felt 
something.  She could hear her voice being whispered.  She didn't hear with 
her ears, but her mind.  She looks around to see who it was, but saw no one. 
  Just then she realized who it was calling out.
		"Oh no."  She 
says.
		Then John comes flying down.
		"Well?"  Morgalla says.
		"You know 
someone named Cynthia?"  John says.
		"YES!"  Morgalla says and 
frowns.
		"The bitch made up lies about you and told him.  I'm going to tear 
her head off."
		"I'll bite her FEET off for you mom!"  Jeepers 
says.
		"Later."  Morgalla says.  "We have a bigger problem."

A vacant 
field

		Just outside of town was a vacant field, which a new hotel was 
going to be built but instead a portal to Hell was opened in it's stead.  
John, Morgalla and Jeepers stand there on the outside looking in, seeing a 
lot of rubble around.  Mounds of dirt and rock surroud the area, making it 
look like someplace in the badlands and not Wisconsin.  John holds Melody 
close.
		"Stay here."  Morgalla says.
		"We should call the others."  John 
says.
		"No...that's not their intention."  She says.  "If they wanted to 
kill us they would have TRIED already."
		Morgalla slowly walks in, looking 
around carefully.  She could sense someone around but could see nothing.  
She walks deep amoung the rocks and dirt, John could no longer see her.  
Then Morgalla walks to a clearing, she finds two benches there facing each 
other.
		"Hello Morgalla."  A voice says.
		Morgalla turns to see Delilah 
standing there.
		"Long time no see."  Morgalla says.
		John gets on his 
Celular phone and calls Wally.  He gets the machine.
		"Damn!"  He says then 
dials Meggan and Andrea.
		"Hello?"  Andrea says into the reciever.
		"We 
got trouble!"  John says.
		"Bad guys?"  Andrea asks.  "What kind?  
Supervillian, undead, demonic?"
		"Possible demonic."  John says.
		"Take 
over the world type?"  She asks.
		"Most definately."
		"Okay we'll be right 
there."  She says sighing.
		Delilah and Morgalla were sitting across from 
each other, their legs crossed.
		"So..."  Delilah says with a straight 
face.  "Nice town you've settled in.  Lots of nice apes."
		"They're called 
humans."  Morgalla says.
		"Whatever."
		"So how's Kurlon?"
		"Dead."  
Delilah says.
		"I'm sorry."   Morgalla says.
		"I don't care.  My husband 
was murdered by apes like the one you fell in love with."
		"What of 
Slavara?"  Morgalla asks.
		"Dead."
		"Vedix?"
		"Dead."
		"Vorta?  
Padogan?!"
		Delilah shakes her head.
		"BOB?!"
		"All of your half-brothers 
and sisters are DEAD."  Delilah says.  "All that remains are you, Mariette 
and myself."
		"Not like we were really CLOSE."  Morgalla says.
		"I've been 
ordered to offer an ultimatum."
		"How generous."
		"It's not MY idea."  
Delilah says.  "If I had MY way you and your ape friends would be 
dead."
		"And what, pray tell, IS this offer?"  Morgalla asks.
		"Come back 
and serve, and you live."
		"Of course, John and the other's aren't included 
in this deal?  Morgalla asks.
		"Of course they are."  Delilah says.  "They 
would be a great asset to our cause."
		Meggan and Andrea arrive., the both 
fly down in their demon forms.
		"What's going on?"  Meggan asks.
		"I'm not 
sure." John says.  "She's okay...for the moment.  But I have a feeling that 
something bad is about to happen."
		Unknown to them there were men 
stationed on the rooftops near by, but far enough away not to be seen.  
There are two on one roof, two on another.  One man on either roof was armed 
with sniper's rifles.  The three F.B.I. agents Benson, Mitchel and Wykowski 
were in a car nearby.  They had radios with them to communitcate.
		"We have 
them now."  One of the rooftop snipers says through his radio.
		"Take the 
shot."  Benson tells him.
		"I tried calling W..."  John says but his words 
are interrupted by a bullet hitting him in the head.
		Meggan and Andrea are 
startled while John looses balance and falls to one knee, holding Melody 
close and not dropping her.
		"What the HELL was that?!" Meggan says.
		"I 
GOT him right in the head!"  One sniper says.  "I KNOW I did!  And he's 
still moving!"
		"Get him again!"  The man next to him says.
		He fires 
again and hits John in the head.  The bullet bounces off.
		"OW!"  John 
says, the bullet feeling like being stung by a bee.
		Meggan and Andrea look 
around, searching for something...anything.  John looks behind, both his 
arms protecting his daughter while Jeepers hides behind him.  John is then 
hit on his side, just barely missing his daughter and destroying his cell 
phone in his pocket.  There was only one logical area and that was the four 
story buildings one hundred feet behind them.
		"The buildings."  John says 
to Meggan and Andrea.  "Get them!"
		Andrea and Meggan fly up to the sky 
towards the buildings.  As soon as they fly high enough they see the 
snipers.
		"Oh shit!"  One sniper says seeing them.
		Meggan takes one roof, 
and Andrea the other.  The snipers try to run, but they catch them easily.  
Benson was looking at the situation through his binoculars.  He sees the two 
female demons kick the crap out of the snipers.  They then leave them and 
return to John.
		"You okay?"  Meggan asks John.
		"Yeah...thanks."  John 
replies.  "You didn't bring one back conscious?"
		"No...why?"  Andrea 
says.
		"Well I was thinking of interrogating him..."  John 
says.
		"Oh....damn!"  Meggan says.
		Morgalla was getting restless 
discussing with her half-sister Delilah.
		"You don't HONESTLY think that 
you're going to live an after-life of eternal splendor do you?!"
		"We serve 
her well!"  Delilah says.  "We WILL be rewarded!  If you would 
trust..."
		"TRUST?!"  Morgalla yells.  "If there's one thing I learned in 
my life is that you don't TRUST anyone in HELL!  Father taught me 
that!"
		"You STOLE the powers you have!"
		"Your dark princess stole them 
in the first place!"  Morgalla says.  "And tricked the entire demon race!  
She's the master of trickery!"
		"I serve a higher purpose."  Delilah 
says.
		"At least my SOUL belongs to me!"  Morgalla says.  "Your's does 
not."
		"I see it is pointless in debating with you."  Delilah says 
standing, Morgalla stands also.
		"Yes it is."  Morgalla says.
		"Come now 
Morgalla,"  Delilah says  "You don't REALLY think you can defeat us?  You 
always were the pacifist.  You could never hurt anyone!"
		"I'm not the 
little girl you once knew."  Morgalla replies.
		Delilah smirks and shakes 
her head.  She has absolutely no fear from Morgalla, thinking that she is 
helpless.
		"I will enjoy watching you die."  Delilah says.
		"And I will 
enjoy watching you BURN in Hell!"  Morgalla says.
		Benson receives a call 
on his cell phone.  He picks it up to hear Cynthia Wall's voice.
		"You 
weren't supposed to move against them!"  She yells.
		"Hey!  You want them 
DEAD don't you?!" He yells back.
		"Listen MORON, you follow the plan or 
everything will be screwed up!"
		Morgalla walks back to John and the 
others.
		"Well?"  John asks.  "What's wrong?"
		"Let's just say 'family' 
has come to pay a visit."  Morgalla says.  "Call your parents. Tell them to 
get out of the house!"
		John reaches into his pocket to find the cell 
phone, but finds bits and pieces of it.
		"Dammit!"  John says.
		"They're 
in danger!"  Morgalla says.  "Go to them NOW!  Meet us back 
home!"
		Morgalla takes Melody and John flies off.  Unkown to John there was 
someone watching him from a far.  Over half a mile away a being peers 
through a artificial crimson eye capable of seeing long distances.
		"What 
do WE do now?"  Meggan asks.  "We don't even know who we're 
fighting!"
		"Let's try to be a bit more inconspicuous."   Morgalla 
says.
		They all transform into their human selves and walk back into town.  
Melody was crying, she was scared.
		"Shhh."  Morgalla says trying to 
comfort her.  "I know you're scared baby, mommy is here."
		Jeepers was also 
scared, she scratches at Andrea's leg to be picked up.  Andrea holds her in 
her arms.
		"So FAMILY has come to visit?!"  Meggan asks Morgalla.
		"My two 
half-sisters."  Morgalla says.
		"I thought you once said you had over 
twenty half-brothers and sisters?"  Andrea asks.
		"The rest are apparently 
dead."  Morgalla says.  "And Delilah in some sick unfair way blames me.  I'M 
not the one who threw their lives away for the dark lord!"
		Morgalla then 
stops. She looks around a moment.
		"Now listen very carefully to me."  
Morgalla says.  "THIS is important.  They might offer you 
something."
		"Something?"  Meggan says.
		"They will offer you ANYTHING 
your heart desires, they even may offer to spare the lives of your loved 
ones, but you MUST say NO!  No matter what it is, you MUST say NO!  Do you 
understand me?!"
		"Well yes, but why?"  Andrea says.
		"I don't have time 
to..."
		Suddenly a car drives up fast with Agent Benson at the wheel.  Two 
men point semi-automatic weapons out the windows and fire at them.  The 
three demons all turn, Morgalla protects Melody as bullets bounce off her 
and Andrea protects Jeepers the same way.  They empty the ammunition out of 
their guns and then drive off fast.
		"Bastards!"  Meggan says and flies off 
after them changing into her demon form.
		"Meggan!  Wait!"  Morgalla 
yells.
		Suddenly out of nowhere out of the sky came two helecopters.  They 
open fire upon both Andrea and Morgalla, causing them to scatter.  Andrea 
runs down one alley with Jeepers in her arms.  Morgalla changes into her 
demon form and flies off. The helecopters both split up and pursue either 
woman.

The Davis home

		John flies home to his parents.  He opens the door 
and walks in.
		"MOM?!  DAD?!"  He calls out, with no answer.
		"Hello Mr. 
Davis."  One man says.
		John turns to see Agents Mitchel and Wykowski 
sitting there with four other agents with them.
		"Who the hell are you?!" 
John demands.  "Where are my parents?"
		"They've been arrested."  Agent 
Mitchel says.
		"On what charge?!"  John yells.
		"Your parents are spies 
for a foreign power."
		"Bullshit!"  John yells.
		"Please try to be calm 
Mr. Davis."  Agent Mitchel says.
		John steps forward, the four minion 
agents step in front of him.  He merely looks down at them and 
smirks.
		"You DON'T want to do that."  John says.
		"You.."  The minion 
says pointing his finger on John's chest  "Aren't going to do 
anything."
		John looks down at his finger for a moment, then looks up and 
smiles.  The minion then goes out the window in a big "CRASH".		The other 
minions move away as John walks up to agent Mitchel and grabs him by his 
suit lapels.
		"I will NOT ask twice!"  John yells in his 
face.

Downtown

		Morgalla flies among the streets with the helicopter 
close behind.  Her baby in her arms crying.  Out one door of the chopper a 
sniper with a very large machine gun looks out.  He carefully targets her 
and fires, bullets stream behind Morgalla, filling the pavement with 
bullets.  People run screaming and cars crash into each other.  Morgalla 
sharply turns down an alley, the chopper flies past.  Melody cries, she 
tries to comfort her.
		"Shhh."  Morgalla says running her hand over her 
face, the child magically falls fast asleep.
		Morgalla hated to do that to 
her daughter, but she was desprate to silence her and ease her 
fear.
		Meggan was close behind the car headed a different direction.  
Suddenly the car stops and the three men get out.  One holds an unusual 
weapon which Meggan had never seen, it was something out of a 
science-fiction movie.  She stops and the agent shoots, trapping Meggan in a 
net which glowed a bright red.  Suddenly she feels weak and drops to the 
ground.  She struggles, but quickly feels her strength go away and she 
changes back into her human self.  She drifts off.
		Andrea was running down 
one alley with Jeepers in her arm.
		"Do you KNOW where you're going?!"  
Jeepers says.
		"I'm making this up as I go along!"  Andrea says.
		They 
hide in one alley and hear the helicopter pass by.  She then senses 
something, with her powers she could feel that Meggan was in trouble.
		"Oh 
no!"  She says.
		Andrea looks out and around to see if it's clear, then 
steps out.  Suddenly out of nowhere she spins around and sees a man there 
with the same kind of weapon that was used against Meggan. He fires and the 
net ensnares her.  She falls to the ground and Jeepers falls 
free.
		"R...RUN!"  Andrea yells to the dog, feeling her strength 
leave.
		Jeepers then runs away as fast as her little dog legs could carry 
her.
		"Two down."  The agent says.
		Morgalla steps out of the alley, she 
could still hear the helicopter nearby and it was headed her way.  Suddenly 
she hears another helecopter headed her way too, the second one 
double-backed towards her.
		"Shit."  She says, then tries to communicate to 
John empathically.
		John was still at his parents home.  He was using the 
same form of..."persuation" that he had also used on Principal Williams.  He 
could see multiple agents were in on this conspiracy.  He hears names, he 
sees faces.  One face he recognizes from T.V....Senator Prince!
		"Holy 
shit."  John says, shocked at the extent of the conspiracy against him and 
his loved ones.
		Most importantly John learns of his parents location, they 
were safe for the moment being held in an office building downtown.
  One 
agent regains consciousness and points one of the strage "net weapons" at 
John.  He notices and with a blast of energy from his hand, John destroys 
the weapon and burns the hand of the agent.  Suddenly John could feel 
something.  His empathic powers could tell that his friends Meggan and 
Andrea were in trouble, and that his wife and daughter's lives were in 
danger.
		With one punch John lays agent Mitchel out cold.  He then runs out 
of the house and flies back towards downtown to Morgalla.  The sun was 
setting, it would be night soon.

Downtown

		Morgalla searches around for a 
friendly face.  She had to fight but could not do it with Melody in her 
arms.  The streets were quickly being deserted, everyone was running like 
hell due to the commotion.  Police cars show up and chief Saunders steps out 
of one car.
		"Thank god."  Morgalla says walking up to him.  "I need your 
help."
		Chief Saunders holds up his gun and points it at her.  She stops, 
shocked at what he's just done.
		"You're under arrest."  He says and other 
F.B.I. agents step up behind him.
		"You have NO idea what's going on!"  
Morgalla says.
		"Shut up and get your hands in the air!"  Saunders 
says.
		Just then Agent Benson steps out, he too holds up a pistol.  He 
though doesn't point it at Morgalla, but at Melody.
		"I have no problem 
killing her."  Agent Benson says.  "Surrender...NOW!"
		Morgalla didn't know 
what do, she was scared for the first time in a while.  Then another agent 
steps up behind her and hits her with a taser, more powerful than anything.  
She feels a pain run through her and Saunders takes Melody from her.  Then 
another agent holds up one of their "net weapons" and shoots her with 
it.
		"We'll take that baby chief."  Agent Benson says.
		The chief didn't 
care as he hands over the sleeping Melody to the agent.  John was flying as 
fast as he could when he feels another sensation, he knew Morgalla was no 
longer conscious.
		"NO!"  He says to himself.
		John arrives downtown to 
see that a commotion had occured, but there were no police, agents, or 
Morgalla to be found anywhere.  John gives a roar in rage which is heard for 
quite a distance.
		Cynthia, Mariette and Delilah were all sitting 
comfortably in a socluded section of the park.  They were relaxing, doing 
nothing but waiting.  They then hear John's roar off in the distance.  
Cynthia smiles, takes out a cell phone and dials a number.
		"You may begin 
Mr. Zahn."  She says.

A restaurant miles away

		Wally and Jazzmine were at 
a small quaint restaurant.  They were pretty far from downtown and didn't 
know what was occuring with the others.  They had just ordered a meal and 
were sitting quietly.  Wally was looking for something to say.
		"Um....I'm 
sorry for bringing this up.."  He says.  "But don't you have a 
boyfriend?"
		"Uh...well...yes."  Jazzmine admits, then quickly changes the 
subject.  "So your mom paints?"
		"Yeah."  Wally says, still sensing 
something wrong and guessing it had to do with her boyfriend.
		They're both 
quiet for a moment, both not really sure what to say.  Jazzmine didn't want 
to talk about Tony, though he was on her mind.  And Wally was concerned not 
to offend her by asking too personal a question.
		"Sooo...you work out?"  
Wally says.
		"Yeah.  I used to play basketball in high school, now I just 
like staying in shape."
		"So do I." Wally says.  "Though I do it more for 
strength and muscle gain."
		"You're not going to be one of those HUGE guys 
are you?"  She asks.
		"Um...wasn't planning on it."  Wally replies thinking 
of his huge muscular demon form.
		"Good."  She says.  "Just those guys are 
TOO big!  I mean who would want a body covered with THAT many 
muscles?!"
		"Well...I guess THOSE guys want to!"  Wally says and they both 
laugh.
		"Yeah I guess they do.  But WOMEN with muscles REALLY look 
weird!"
		"What about Grace?"
		"Oh yeah, she's great.  She really helped me 
when I first started out.  But her muscles are just so...BIG!  For a woman, 
anyway!"
		"I don't know," Wally says looking at her very toned arms.  "It 
looks as if YOU have some muscles too!"  He then points to her 
bicep.
		"What?"  Jazzmine says flexing her bicep and feeling it.  "Well, 
I'm no where NEAR as big as Grace!"
		The waitress then arrives with their 
food.

An unknown location

		Morgalla wakes with a headache, she instantly 
feels that her powers were gone so she knows she's on holy ground.  She was 
lying down on the hard cold floor, she manages to sit up.  She cannot move 
her arms, for they are hand-cuffed behind her back.  Just then the door 
opens and Agent Benson walks in with two minion agents in black 
suits.
		"Ah, good you're awake!"  He says and kneels down to her.
		"Where 
the hell is my daughter?!"  Morgalla demands looking at him with hate filled 
eyes.
		"You're in NO position to be asking anything!"  He says.  "Your 
daughter is currently being disected by our lab guys."
		Morgalla was 
silent, a tear runs down her face and her teeth clamp together in 
anger.
		"Aww, did I hit a nerve?"  He says.
		"I'm going to kill you."  
Morgalla says sucking back the pain.
		"I doubt that."  He says running his 
hand down her face, feeling her delicate skin.  He then looks at her crotch. 
  "I wonder what demon pussy is like!"
		Morgalla resists him as best she 
can.
  "You chose the wrong team babe!"  He says.
		"No...YOU chose the 
wrong team!"  Morgalla says.  "You have no idea how you've screwed up your 
life!"
		"MY life?"  He says.  "I'M the one who's going to living like a 
fucking KING!"
		"But what happens afterwards?"  Morgalla asks 
smirking.
		"What?"  He asks.
		"When you die...what happens then?"
		Agent 
Benson is silent for a moment, not knowing what to say.
		"You don't know do 
you?"  She says.  "You signed your soul away and you didn't read the fine 
print?!  I was wrong about you, you're not evil....you're a MORON!"
		"Shut 
up!"  He yells, punching her in the face.
		"It's not to bad really,"  
Morgalla says shaking off the pain  "You'll just be her BITCH for all 
eternity!"
		"Is she telling the truth?"  One minion asks.
		"You shut the 
FUCK up!"  Agent Benson yells back at him.
		"Hey I didn't know we would be 
signing our SOULS away here!"  The minion says.
		Agent Benson grabs the 
minion by the arm and they both leave, he slams the door behind him.  
Morgalla sits there, tears run down her face in fear for her baby.
		Agent 
Benson walks down a hall and sees Delilah standing there.
		"We gotta talk!" 
  He says to her.
		"Yes?"  She asks quietly.
		"That bitch was saying 
something about eternal damnation!"  He says.  "Now I'm not normally a 
god-fearing man..."
		"GOD is not the one you should be fearing."  Delilah 
interrupts.  "Now have you done what we have orderd?"
		"Yeah we got the 
three demons."  He says, still bothered by what Morgalla said. "We're trying 
to find the fourth and that Davis guy is downtown."
		"And the dog?"  She 
asks.
		"What dog?"  He says confused.
		"You didn't...get...the 
dog?!"
		"Yeah we saw a DOG, so what?!"
		She sighs in frustration.
		"We 
said you must get the ENTIRE group!"  She says.  "Now FIND the fucking 
DOG!"
		"What's the big fucking deal?!"
		Delilah slaps him across the 
face.
		"Do as I SAY dammit!"  She yells then leaves.
